How to play
- 1Type the names and choose the hand the bank opens on, from 5 to 15.
- 2The mark to beat starts at the bank's hand. You draw cards off the deck one at a time until you clear it and, from there, you choose whether to stand or push.
- 3Bust over 21 and you drink a sip; hit it exactly and you hand one out. Either way the mark goes back to the bank's hand and the round rolls on, because this game does not end on its own.
House rules
- The mark never dropsBusting does not send the mark back to the bank: it stays where it was. Two laps in it is impossible and everyone is drinking three times as much.
- Double downBefore your third card you can double: one more card only, and whatever you drink or hand out counts twice.
- 21 gives twiceHitting 21 does not only hand out sips: you also choose who plays next. There is always somebody the mark catches at the worst possible moment.

- How many players do you need for Social Blackjack?
- From 2 to 10. Fewer and it falls flat, more and it drags, though nobody is going to stop you trying.
- Do I have to download anything?

- Is Social Blackjack free?
- Completely. Every card, every level and all six languages, with no account and no paid tier.
- How is it different from casino blackjack?
- Nobody plays the dealer and there are no chips. The bank here is just the number the round opens on; from there, the mark to beat is whatever the player before you made. Standing stops being a table you memorise and becomes a read on the person next to you.
- What are aces worth?
- Eleven, dropping to one on their own the moment the hand would bust. There is nothing to decide: the phone always takes the value that suits you.
